Thorton set for the Rock’s next action film…

According to IGN, Billy Bob Thorton will co-star with Dwayne Johnson in Faster. Amy Baer, President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Films, made the announcement today. George Tillman Jr. ( Notorious, Men of Honor, Soul Food) will direct the film. Here is a brief description of the film from IGN:

An ex-con (Johnson) sets out to avenge his brother's murder with a deadly to-do list. Trailed by a veteran cop (Thornton) and an egocentric hit man, he methodically races against time to bring those responsible to justice.

Casting for the hit man is currently underway.

This sounds good. Billy Bob looks ridiculous though. I hope he isn't growing that thing for this role.
